Joanna I. Karlitz

Joanna Karlitz heads the criminal defense division of the firm, and is an extremely experienced trial attorney.

Joanna has an extensive background in criminal defense and handles these cases throughout New York and Connecticut. Joanna is well versed in all criminal matters and handles them from arraignment through trial.  Joanna handles complex matters including DWI’s, violent felonies, including homicides, and high level drug offenses. Joanna has a vast array of experience handling sex offense matters, including SORA hearings and modification petitions. 

Joanna also handles personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and product liability matters. Joanna engages in comprehensive investigations and analysis on each case. Joanna understands the complexities that each case brings and makes sure that every angle is accounted for.
